VAPolyTZFM 1.0

VAPolyTZFM is a sophisticated polyphonic synthesizer equipped with Through Zero FM, a form of linear frequency modulation that allows for precise pitch control, resulting in more nuanced musical expressions.

It functions either as a standalone application or as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3) compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The standalone version supports Ableton Link, MIDI integration, and audio file export capabilities.

The synthesizer includes a range of built-in effects such as delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, equalization, and compression. Project files can be stored on iCloud Drive, enabling seamless access across devices.

Recent updates have added support for MIDI Foot Pedal controls (CC#11 and CC#64) and MIDI 2.0 Per Note Control Messages. Additionally, MIDI CC settings are now saved within the project and will persist upon subsequent app launches.

System requirements include iOS 17.0 or later. Devices equipped with Apple Silicon are recommended for optimal performance; however, devices with A13 Fusion chips or higher are highly advisable. Users experiencing sound distortion on lower-powered devices should consider reducing the number of voices. The AudioUnit Extension (AUv3) necessitates host applications that support AudioUnit extensions; it is compatible with Apple Logic and GarageBand on both iOS and macOS. Compatibility with other DAWs depends on their support for AudioUnit Extension technology.
